Not Every Statement Is a Report of a Crime: Arthur Davtyan
Any statement is not a report of a crime within the meaning of criminal procedural law. This was stated today by the Prosecutor General of Armenia, Arthur Davtyan, during a press conference in Parliament.
He particularly responded to the question of why criminal cases have not been initiated against entrepreneurs who, according to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's statement, took money in suitcases from Baghramyan 26.
“Do you think that any statement constitutes a report of a crime in the sense of criminal procedural law? No,” said the Prosecutor General.
It should be recalled that Nikol Pashinyan had declared a year ago, after being elected Prime Minister, that previously entrepreneurs had taken money in suitcases from Baghramyan 26, and no criminal case has been initiated following this statement.
