V. Balasanyan: Kojaryan Should Have Been Allowed to Participate in the Triumphal Festival
V. Balasanyan stated in a press briefing with journalists in Artsakh that, "They should have respected the request of the current and former presidents of Artsakh and made that decision immediately. Their request did not address the suspension of the criminal case or the cessation of prosecution. Their request was that at least during these days, all presidents participate in these celebrations."
In response to a remark that there is an opinion that the authorities of Artsakh are interfering in the internal affairs of Armenia, Balasanyan replied, "We have previously stated that we have two Armenian states - one homeland. What are we talking about?"
It is noteworthy that the current and former presidents of Artsakh had appealed to the Prosecutor General Arthur Davtyan, requesting a change in the preventive measure for Armenia's second president and former president of Artsakh, Robert Kojaryan.
