The Ministry of Defense Seeks Superiority in Armament: David Tonoyan

“There have been hits that have resulted in injuries. We have responded appropriately. I attribute this activity to bilateral engineering work. After winter, you know, some engineering work is being carried out in spring, and the front line is becoming more active. The Armed Forces of Armenia continue their work to ensure the security of the country,” stated Armenian Minister of Defense David Tonoyan during a conversation with reporters in Victory Park, addressing the border situation.

The minister reaffirmed that the Armenian army is arming itself very diligently, adding, “We have all the opportunities for that,” he said.

To the question of whether these actions restore the balance of armament in the region, David Tonoyan stated, “The Ministry of Defense seeks not balance, but superiority.”
