Soldiers from Artsakh Depart to Fulfill Requirements of Order 0038: Movses Hakobyan

There has always been, is, and will continue to be tension at the border. This was the assessment of the border situation by Movses Hakobyan, the former head of the Armed Forces General Staff and Chief Military Inspector, during a conversation with reporters in Stepanakert.

In response to a question about the current challenge facing the army, he jokingly replied, "May 9th – Celebrating Victory Day."

Reporters also asked Hakobyan questions regarding the March 1st case, noting that several military figures are involved in this case.

Hakobyan stated that he was also interrogated in relation to this case and provided the prosecutor with the orders he signed during that time.

"Soldiers from Artsakh have been transferred to fulfill the requirements of order 0038. In other words, soldiers from one garrison have been moved to another garrison, and the purpose outlined in that order was to enhance security," he said.

Regarding the initiated criminal case, Hakobyan mentioned that he has no opinion on that matter: "I do not want to be in the position of a judge; a criminal case has been initiated, the trial will proceed, and everything will become clear."

To the question about the undermining of constitutional order, he responded: "If you read that order, there is no provision regarding the undermining of constitutional order."
