Authorities Attempt to Involve Former Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan: 'Fact'
The newspaper 'Fact' reports that in one of its previous publications, it mentioned that Nikol Pashinyan planned to discuss the issue of car customs clearance with Dmitry Medvedev during the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council.
According to the newspaper's information, the Russian Prime Minister did not provide any specific comments on this topic, diplomatically avoiding the issue.
Furthermore, the newspaper has uncovered that the regulation of this issue has been postponed until autumn, when, according to preliminary information, Vladimir Putin's visit to Armenia is expected to take place. There is clear evidence that the current authorities are sending emissaries regarding car customs clearance and gas prices to Armenian and Russian-Armenian businessmen involved in the Russian field, in an attempt to lobby for the most favorable solutions for Armenia.
Reports suggest that they are also trying to involve former Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan in this process.
