«Sahakyan Construction» Has Not Paid Employees for 4 Months, Strike Planned

According to the newspaper «Zhamanak», the construction company «Sahakyan Construction» has not paid its employees for a considerable time.

For instance, employees currently working on the Vedi reservoir reported that they have not received their salaries for 4 months. The management provides various excuses and regularly promises that they will pay, but in reality, they have been working without pay for 4 months, and there is no hope that they will receive their wages.

Employees mentioned that a similar issue arose some time ago, where salaries were received with delays of 2-3 months. They indicated that if they do not receive their salaries in a short period, they will announce a strike, leaving all projects unfinished, including the construction of the Vedi reservoir.
