Record Number of Vehicles Imported to Armenia in First Four Months of This Year

The head of the Armenian Traffic Police, Yegor Karapetyan, today released data on the vehicles imported to the country.

"In the first four months of 2019, 35,000 vehicles were registered in Armenia. About half of them are located in the capital city, which in turn complicates traffic and leads to congestion," Karapetyan stated.

According to data from the first quarter of 2019, compared to the same period in 2018, the number of road traffic accidents has increased by 169.
