Pashinyan to Hold Press Conference on May 8 to Summarize His First Year in Office
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced during the "My Step for Ararat" investment business programs conference that he will hold a press conference on May 8 to summarize his first year in office as prime minister.
"In connection with my first year as prime minister, I will hold a press conference on May 8, where I will present, point by point, all the changes that have occurred in the Republic of Armenia during this year. It is important to note that much has changed in Armenia. The most crucial change is that Armenia will never again be in despair; it will never again be as it was. The citizen of Armenia is all-powerful, is omnipotent, and they will cultivate their homeland, the Republic of Armenia, through their thoughts, their work, and their talent," he said.
During the conference, Prime Minister Pashinyan also emphasized that the most important prerequisite for economic change is the philosophy and ideology that underpins it.
The Prime Minister believes that the answer to the question "what can a citizen of Armenia do" has changed after the revolution. He stressed that the citizen of Armenia can do anything, as their opportunities for legal and creative actions are not limited.
"This change should make Armenia one of the leading economic countries in the world. Today, our main problem is that many inertia processes from the past hinder us. People sometimes do not want to believe what they see, do not want to believe what they hear, sometimes we need some 'motivation.' More than 90% of those who wish to invest in the economy want to personally coordinate their actions with the country's leadership," Nikol Pashinyan emphasized.
