Vahan Badasyan Injured in Accident

Armenian commander Vahan Badasyan has been injured in a car accident. This information was confirmed by Badasyan in a conversation with NEWS.am.

“I mainly have bruises and pains. I have just been discharged from the hospital, from Erebuni Medical Center, and I am going home,” he stated.

Vahan Badasyan revealed that he was driving when the accident occurred on the Gandzasar-Stepanakert road.

“There was a car stopped in front of me, probably someone was either drunk or asleep. I didn’t see that car, even though visibility was several hundred meters. However, another light passenger vehicle was stopped. As I approached, it moved away, and then I collided with the other vehicle,” he explained.

He noted that a relative and a fellow party member were in the car with him, who sustained bodily injuries and fractures, and is in critical condition at Erebuni Medical Center.
