Armenian Revolutionary Federation Launches Signature Campaign

The newspaper 'Iravates' reports that the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) is launching a signature campaign in Artsakh to support the implementation of the Armenia-Artsakh alliance. A source from 'Iravates' stated that the party plans to hold a forum on the topic of 'Armenia-Artsakh Strategic Alliance' on May 7.

“So that the prime minister does not have to repeatedly say that he was not elected by the votes of the people of Artsakh and therefore is not authorized to negotiate, we propose this model. Furthermore, Armenia declares that it is the guarantor of Artsakh's security, but it remains unclear on what legal basis,” they emphasized.

The source also noted that although the co-chairing countries of the OSCE Minsk Group may be dissatisfied with the Armenia-Artsakh military-political agreement, it would serve as a yellow card for Azerbaijan. “It’s not that countries will line up the next day to recognize Artsakh’s independence, but it will facilitate the process of international recognition and pave the way for full participation of Artsakh in negotiations,” they added.
