Pashinyan Dismisses Head of the National Security Council Office
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has dismissed Armine Margaryan from the position of head of the National Security Council Office, according to a decision made on May 2. This information was reported by the government's e-gov.am website.
"In accordance with part 13 of article 9 of the Republic of Armenia’s Law on Public Service and based on point 5 of clause 10 of the Prime Minister's decision number 564-L dated May 25, 2018, Armine Margaryan is relieved of her duties as the head of the National Security Council Office, effective May 2, 2019," the government’s announcement reads.
It is worth noting that Armine Margaryan had only been appointed to the position two months prior.
