No one has the right to talk to the NSS with blackmail. Vanetsyan on Sanasarian
Arthur Vanetsyan, the Director of the National Security Service (NSS), stated in a conversation with reporters today that he does not believe there will be a need for amputation. This remark was made while discussing the video of State Oversight Service head Davit Sanasarian, whose powers have been suspended, allegedly accepting a bribe.
It should be noted that Davit Sanasarian mentioned that he would cut off his hand if a media outlet was the first to publish the video of him accepting a bribe.
“The NSS is carrying out its work very cleanly, transparently, and in compliance with all legal provisions. If there is ever a case where the NSS conducts illegal persecution against an individual, I am ready to be held accountable before both the law and society on that day,” he said.
Vanetsyan also added that no one has the right to speak to the NSS with blackmail or attempt to intimidate it.
