Opel Crashes into a Rock and Catches Fire; Driver Hospitalized

On May 1, at 00:32, the 911 service received a call about a traffic accident with a fire outbreak near the village mayor's office in Lernantsk village of Lori region, resulting in injuries and requiring rescue assistance.

A firefighting unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that an Opel vehicle (driver A.M., born 1959) crashed into a roadside rock and caught fire.

The fire was contained by 00:40 and extinguished by 00:50. The vehicle was completely burned.

Driver A.M. was hospitalized at Spitak Medical Center, where his health condition was assessed as satisfactory.
