David Sanasaryan Prepares to Appeal to the Human Rights Defender

During a press conference at the National Assembly today, the Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan stated that immediately after the charges were filed against him, he took the initiative to meet with David Sanasaryan.

“I have spoken with David Sanasaryan and his lawyer, and I know that they are preparing to file a complaint with me. When they submit the complaint, we will review it and discuss it accordingly,” Tatoyan said.

In response to a question regarding whether the Director of the NSS, Arthur Vanetsyan, had the right to make a statement that the case would go to court, Tatoyan did not provide a clear answer, only noting, “I mentioned that I will initiate a process one way or another, but there was an agreement that when the complaint is filed, the lawyer can present their demands more clearly, and I will also know my actions more precisely at a later stage.”
