Criminal Case on March 1 Sent to Court

The criminal case regarding March 1, in which former high-ranking officials are accused, has been sent to court, reported Gor Abrahamyan, advisor to the Attorney General of Armenia.

"The prosecutor, who is overseeing the legality of the pre-trial proceedings, has confirmed that the part of the criminal case related to the events that took place in Yerevan from March 1 to 2, 2008, has been separated. This is based on the indictment against Robert Kocharian, Seyran Ohanyan, Yuri Khachaturov, and Armen Gevorgyan," he stated.

The criminal case in this regard has been forwarded to the first instance court of general jurisdiction in Yerevan," he added.
