272 People Die from Fatigue in Indonesia, 1878 Fall Ill
272 workers involved in the organization and conduct of elections in Indonesia have died, while 1878 have fallen ill due to fatigue, attributed to irregular working hours, reports DW.
It is noteworthy that on April 17, Indonesia simultaneously elected its president, members of the bicameral People's Consultative Congress, as well as regional and local legislative bodies. A total of 245 thousand candidates participated in the elections, competing for 20 thousand parliamentary seats.
