9 million for events???
Sharm company??????... This was written today on Facebook by user Mikhail Markaryan.
“As a specialist in the field, I am ready to lead an anti-corruption commission to detect the misuse of state funds for events. Please send photos and videos,” he stated.
Recall that on April 26, we reported that Panorama.am had submitted a written request to the government to clarify how the 124 million dram spent for Citizen's Day would be used.
In response, it was indicated that the 124 million dram allocated for the “Citizen's Day” event is intended to organize various activities in Yerevan and 10 regional centers, implement branding, promotion, and public awareness of the event.
In the regions of Armenia and Yerevan, it is planned to organize appropriate, high-quality, mass events such as concert programs, theatrical performances, street art, and more.
“Considering that it was not possible to organize the procurement process through a competitive bidding due to time constraints, it was decided to carry out the organization of the events dedicated to Citizen's Day through a single-source procurement process. Based on the proposals submitted by companies that organize similar mass events in the field, the organizations presented with accompanying preliminary estimates were selected,” said the executive body.
The preliminary estimates provided by the government’s information and public relations department are presented in the photographs.
