The Prime Minister Must Be Able to Integrate Our Country into the Silk Road Projects: Hrant Bagratyan
In Beijing, Azerbaijan has signed $800 million in memorandums during the forum as well as in the field of bilateral Azerbaijani-Chinese economic and military cooperation. The Prime Minister of Armenia must find a way to integrate our country into the Silk Road projects. This was stated by former Prime Minister Hrant Bagratyan in a Facebook post, commenting on the results of the Beijing International Conference and potential steps for Armenia.
"The second forum of the Silk Road has concluded in Beijing. A significant amount of money has been allocated. Russia is taking advantage of the opportunity and trying to make the Trans-Siberian and BAM a high-speed railway between China and the EU (with an investment of up to 20 billion dollars). Kazakhstan wants the same thing but through its own routes, Georgia is building the Anaklia port, and Ukraine has received $345 million for the Kremenchuk bridge. Azerbaijan signed $800 million in memorandums during the forum as well as in the field of bilateral Azerbaijani-Chinese economic and military cooperation. Incidentally, in this context, as a sign of politeness and to maintain balance, the Chinese side will invite the Prime Minister of Armenia to China. He must find a way to integrate our country into the Silk Road projects in any capacity," Bagratyan stated in his post.
