Armed Robbery at Church in Gegharkunik Province

The Sevan division of the police is currently investigating a theft that occurred in Gegharkunik Province on April 26, as reported by Shamshyan.com.

At approximately 12:50, a call was received from 37-year-old Andrey Sargsyan, who reported that between 6:00 PM on April 25 and 10:00 AM on April 26, an unknown individual or individuals had gained entry into the territory of the Saint Sarkis Church in the community of Tsaghkunq by using technical means to open the window shutters at the back of the church. They managed to steal a significant amount of money from the candle-selling shelf and donation box.
