The Issue of Car Imports on the EAEU Agenda: "Fact"

The newspaper "Fact" reports: "A new problematic and almost unsolvable situation is anticipated for the Armenian reality in the near future. A rather serious situation has developed around car imports, and according to "Fact" newspaper's information, about 15,000 citizens involved in car importing are preparing to take serious actions.

The issue is that starting from next year, the customs duty on car imports will increase by about 50 percent. According to the newspaper's information, Prime Minister Pashinyan has already discussed this issue with Tigran Sargsyan, who currently heads the EAEU Council of Governments. They have agreed to raise the issue within the EAEU and explain the nuances of the problem.

Next week, Nikol Pashinyan is also scheduled to have discussions with Dmitry Medvedev, who will arrive in Armenia on April 29."
