Fight at Avan Psychiatric Hospital; Staff Member Injured

An employee of the Psychiatric National Center has admitted to the hospital with injuries, reports Armeniasputnik.am.

According to the media outlet, a dispute occurred during the night of April 26 at the Psychiatric National Center located in the Avan administrative district. One of the center's staff members sustained a head injury and sought medical assistance.

Preliminary assumptions indicate that one of the patients being treated at the center had an argument with the nurse and struck him on the head with a chair. Law enforcement is investigating the circumstances of the incident.
