Russia Will Reject Mihran Poghosyan's Application for Political Asylum

National Assembly member from the "My Step" faction, former lawyer Nikolay Baghdasaryan is confident that Russia will not grant political asylum to former head of the RA Judicial Acts Enforcement Service and former MP Mihran Poghosyan.

In a conversation with an Aysor.am correspondent, Baghdasaryan, who has dealt with such cases during his legal career, insisted that Poghosyan's application may not even be considered. And even if the application is reviewed, it cannot be satisfied for several reasons.

It is worth noting that yesterday, a Russian media outlet reported, citing Poghosyan's Russian lawyer Mikhail Yamchitsky, that an application for political asylum in Russia has been submitted to the relevant authorities.
