Who is Behind the Company Monitoring the Amulsar Mine

The newspaper 'Zhamanak' writes that 'Behind the company Earth Link and Advanced Resources Development (ELARD), which is engaged in monitoring the Amulsar gold mine, are Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan and the head of the Deputy Prime Minister's office, Varag Siseryan, who is of Lebanese origin and has studied and worked there.'

According to our information, it was under their direction that the government allocated 400 thousand dollars from the state budget to this company, at a time when Lebanon is not known for companies engaged in mine monitoring. However, it is well-known for its reputation as one of the most corrupt countries in the world.

The issue here is not only the possibility of embezzling the 400 thousand dollar amount, but also that we are likely to receive a biased conclusion regarding the Amulsar mine.
