Stabbing Incident in Residential Area

On April 22, at 17:50, the police department of Shengavit received a report from the hospital that an ambulance had transported a 37-year-old man with a diagnosis of "stab wound to the abdominal area," who is unable to provide an explanation.

According to a relative, the stabbing occurred in an apartment in one of the buildings on Airport Street.

Thanks to the measures taken by the officers from the Charbakh police station, it was determined that on April 22 at 17:30, during an argument on Airport Street, a 34-year-old man named Amiran F. struck the victim with a sharp cutting object, inflicting the injury. Amiran was apprehended by the police at 19:00 at the same location, where he provided a confession and was presented to the investigative department.

Amiran F. has been arrested.

Efforts are underway to locate the weapon used in the crime.

A criminal case has been initiated based on Article 112, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.

An investigation is ongoing.
