Process Initiated to Return 40 Properties Owned by Manvel Grigoryan to Community

A process has been initiated to return 40 properties owned by or leased by Manvel Grigoryan to the community.

In an interview with Factor.am, Siranush Abrahamyan, the chief specialist of the legal department of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Development, elaborated on the work being done at this stage of the process.

“Currently, our ministry's administrative supervision staff is conducting studies in the relevant communities of the Armavir region, specifically examining the pertinent documents. After collecting and summarizing these documents, we are preparing to approach the court. These plots of land were allocated to Manvel Grigoryan through auction, and we are trying to ascertain how the auction was conducted, whether it was regular or not. We intend to petition the court to annul the decisions made by the heads of communities regarding the allocation of these areas to Manvel Grigoryan, after which all these lands will be returned to the communities,” Siranush Abrahamyan stated in her interview with Factor.am.

According to her, the discussion mainly involves plots of land that have been leased to members of the Grigoryan family. The study process, as noted by Siranush Abrahamyan, began about a month ago and is nearing completion.
