Incident Between Clergy and NSS Employee, the Latter Delivered Punches

According to the "Iravunk" newspaper, an incident occurred on April 21 in Masis between a clergyman and a National Security Service (NSS) employee. The Masis investigative division of the police is preparing materials regarding the incident.

On that day at around 2:00 PM, Tser Ashot (Samvel) Khachatur Safaryan, the clergyman of the "Holy Gevorg" Church and a resident of Masis, reported to the Masis police station that at about 10:00 AM on the same day, Edwin Ghukasyan, a resident of 3rd Street in Masis, had attacked him, pulled him, shouted insults at him, and then struck him multiple times on the head and face.

According to the same source, Ghukasyan was an NSS employee. The underlying reason for the incident is still unknown, but according to circulating rumors, there were personal issues involved.
