Snowfall in Several Communities of Armenia

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of April 22 at 19:00, there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads in the territory of Armenia.

The road from the village of Byurakan in the Aragatsotn region to the Amberd Fortress is closed.

The Vardenyats Pass and the Sotk-Karvachar road are difficult to navigate due to fog, with visibility reduced to 500 meters.

On the Sotk-Karvachar road, visibility is just 5 meters, and in the town of Sevan in Gegharkunik Province, there is a snowstorm ongoing.

Snow is also falling in the regions of Syunik, specifically in areas such as Sisian-Zanger, Meghri Mountain, in towns like Kajaran, Goris, Kapan, as well as in Gegharkunik's towns of Gavar and Martuni.

Additionally, there is fog in the cities of Kajaran and Goris in Syunik Province.
