Closed, Difficult to Pass, and Foggy Roads in Armenia

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of April 22 at 22:30, there are closed and difficult-to-pass roadways in the territory of Armenia.

The road from the village of Byurakan in the Aragatsotn Province to the Amberd Fortress is closed.

The Vardenyats Pass and the Sotk-Karvachar highway are difficult to traverse due to fog.

On the Sotk-Karvachar highway, visibility is only 5 meters, and there is a snowstorm in the city of Sevan, Gegharkunik Province.

Snow is falling in the serpentine roads of Dilijan, in the Sisians-Zanger section of Syunik Province, as well as in Kajaran, Goris, Kapan, and in the towns of Gavar and Martuni in Gegharkunik Province.

In the cities of Kajaran and Goris in Syunik Province, there is fog.
