Video: My Step Alliance MP Responds to Gagik Tsarukyan's Accusations

During the discussion on amendments to the RA Law on State Duties and the package of related draft laws, My Step Alliance MP Haik Sarksyan stated that he has thoroughly studied the sector, which includes three main cement production plants in Armenia: Ararat Cement, the Hrazdan plant, and a cement factory in Yerevan that imports raw materials for cement.

According to the MP, Ararat Cement sells cement for 40,000 AMD, the Yerevan plant sells it for 41,000 AMD, while the Hrazdan plant sells it for 48,000 AMD.

“Ararat Cement belongs to the Multi Group concern, owned by Gagik Tsarukyan. I have great respect for Gagik Tsarukyan, considering that he is a successful businessman who has achieved success from scratch, and his concern is one of the highest taxpayers. Recently, Mr. Tsarukyan announced that several members of the Economic Commission met with cement producers, implying that they acted against them. Yes, we have met, and it would not be strange if such matters were discussed, as we do not meet with all cement producers to address issues,” he said, adding that they meet with all interested parties when discussing any issues.
