Pashinyan Presents What He Has Done and What He Has Not

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is currently answering users' questions via a Facebook live stream. He is presenting point by point what he has promised during his tenure. While addressing almost all points, he mentions that they have been fulfilled one hundred percent.

For example, regarding the fines from speed cameras owned by former President Serzh Sargsyan's brother, Sasun Sargsyan, he stated, “We have annulled the fines from Sasun Sargsyan's speed cameras; we implemented an amnesty which resulted in thirteen billion drams. Monopolies should be eliminated. Today, no one in Armenia can claim to have a monopoly, at least in terms of opportunities. I showed during the last governmental report what the reality is; we can essentially say that the banana monopoly has been crushed. Today, there are people saying that they are coloring sugar with gasoline.” The next point he mentioned is that there will be no political prisoners, and this point has been fulfilled. “Those responsible for March 1 should stand before the court; this has been carried out to a significant extent,” he added.

Regarding the question of whether charges would be filed against former President Serzh Sargsyan, Pashinyan stated, “I cannot say whether charges will be filed against Serzh Sargsyan or not. However, if I were to go for backstage agreements, then the entire revolution and my life would be meaningless. I will not go for such agreements as it contradicts my principles... There will be no vendettas, but there will be legality and justice; there will be a return of stolen goods to the people.”

Pashinyan assured that if there are sufficient indications, charges against Sargsyan will be filed.
