VIDEO: Mane Tandilyan on Credit Intermediaries

"There are individuals and organizations operating in Armenia that serve as 'intermediaries' for people seeking loans without having the means to provide loans themselves, and they impose high interest rates for this service. Although these organizations claim that they influence the decisions of banks regarding loan issuance, in reality, they are merely resorting to deception," stated MP Mane Tandilyan from the LHK faction during a recent parliamentary session.

The faction has introduced a bill that establishes a penalty of up to 4 million drams for these organizations if they use terms like loan, lending, and similar phrases in their advertisements.
