Vaner Village Mayor's Powers Terminated

According to Armlur.am, by the decision of Gegharkunik Regional Governor Gnel Sanosyan, the powers of Vaner Village Mayor Norair Harutyunyan have been terminated.

By the governor's decision, a temporary acting mayor has also been appointed - Aram Harutyunyan. He is from Vardenis and is expected to be presented tomorrow. Although the mayor's powers have been terminated and the demands of activist Atom Mkrtchyan have essentially been met, the villager who has been on hunger strike since April 9 does not intend to end his strike. Furthermore, those demanding the mayor's resignation are dissatisfied with the selection of the temporary acting mayor, claiming he has made deals with the former mayor.

It is also worth noting that today again, those demanding the mayor's resignation gathered in front of the government, insisting that Norair Harutyunyan should not be allowed to run again in the event of his resignation.
