Protests by 'Yellow Vests' Banned Around Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris

The authorities in Paris have prohibited protests by the 'Yellow Vests' movement scheduled for April 20 in the vicinity of the Notre-Dame Cathedral. This was reported by the TASS news agency.

The Parisian police issued a decree establishing a security perimeter that restricts the movement of people and vehicles.

The security perimeter includes several nearby beaches and bridges. This decision was made for safety reasons following the fire that broke out at the cathedral days ago.

In addition to the Île de la Cité, protests by the 'Yellow Vests' have also been banned near the Champs-Élysées and the Élysée Palace.
