40,000,000 Dram for Renovation and Cleaning of Presidential Residence
The Armenian Presidential Staff has concluded that the conditions of the new residence building they have been assigned, located at Baghramyan 26, are not in an adequate state of cleanliness and maintenance. This was stated in a draft resolution adopted during a government session.
“The staff has assessed the condition of the administrative building at the specified address, identified maintenance and operational issues, compiled reports on deficiencies, and organized a procurement process for cleaning services based on Article 15, Part 6 of the Law on Procurements of the Republic of Armenia,” the draft states.
The total costs for the mentioned works amount to 40,000,000 dram. This amount will be allocated from the budgetary resources provided to the Presidential Staff of the Republic of Armenia.
As mentioned in the draft resolution, the purpose of the proposed renovations is “to create better-maintained and cleaner building conditions, which will properly ensure the exercise of the powers, activities, and representation of the President of the Republic.”
