Laboratories to Be Provided to High Schools, Says Araik Harutyunyan

Lilit Stepanyan, a member of the "My Step" faction in the National Assembly, inquired from the Minister of Education, Araik Harutyunyan, whether there is an issue regarding the change of the education model on the agenda.

"No, there isn't," the minister responded.

Stepanyan asked why there is discourse on this matter, to which Harutyunyan replied.

"From the very first day I was appointed to this position, there have been news articles circulating in the media with such fake headlines, which have created a general atmosphere. Such things have been declared, there have been similar proposals; any proposal made is discussed, but we have not approached it seriously. Right now, we are doing significant work to enhance the role of high schools, both in attracting additional financial resources and in terms of content. Soon, we will provide laboratories for physics, chemistry, mathematics, and economic geography to almost all high schools, which involves more than 300 laboratories."
