Tense Situation in the National Assembly: 'Sitting on Suitcases' - 168 Hours

The newspaper '168 Hours' reports: 'There is a tense situation in the National Assembly. Long-time staff members are 'sitting on suitcases' as a new phase of layoffs has begun.

The head of the staff, Tigran Galstyan, has recently dismissed three employees from the service staff who, according to our information, had not committed any violations or offenses, and had been diligently fulfilling their duties.

Moreover, the reasons for their dismissal are not due to optimization or the non-targeted nature of these positions, as a simultaneous announcement has been posted on the National Assembly website regarding these vacant positions for the head of energy management (civil works) and two technical operators in the Division of Material and Technical Support of the National Assembly.

Additionally, many members of the service staff are receiving justified and unjustified warnings and reprimands. This seems to prepare the ground for new layoffs.'
