Parliament Did Not Elect President's Nominee for Constitutional Court Judge
The Parliament's counting commission reported the results of the closed ballot for the candidate to the Constitutional Court, with 24 votes in favor, 75 against, and 2 ballots declared invalid.
It is noteworthy that out of 132 parliament members, 101 participated in the vote.
Recall that the candidacy of Gor Hovhannisyan was put forward by President Armen Sarkissian.
