Opel Crashes into ZIL in Kotayk Province, Several Injured

On April 16, an accident occurred in Kotayk Province. Around 16:20, 54-year-old Vasil Shahnazaryan, a resident of Hrazdan, collided with a ZIL 130 truck owned by 56-year-old Samvel Voskanyan. The unfortunate incident happened on the 30th km section of the Yerevan-Sevan highway, involving Shahnazaryan's Opel Astra with license plate 35 VP 672 and Voskanyan's ZIL with license plate 71 CX 717.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, passengers in the Opel, namely 18-year-old Ani Harutyunyan, 24-year-old Gohar Avagyan, and 49-year-old Gevorg Hakhoyan, sustained bodily injuries and were transported to the Charentsavan Medical Center.

Officers from the 2nd police battalion of the traffic police arrived at the scene, led by battalion commander Arthur Petrosyan and platoon commander Sargis Bagratyan. Senior investigator Hakob Sogoyan from the same battalion directed the investigative activities at the site, where materials are being prepared regarding the incident. Additionally, representatives from 'Sil Insurance' insurance company arrived promptly.
