Grandson of Former Village Chief of Zartonq Released
Today, Narek Melkonyan, the grandson of former village chief Paruir Sargsyan from Zartonq, has been released. He is a history teacher at a local school. Since yesterday, there have been protests demanding his release.
Upon his release, Narek Melkonyan was greeted with applause.
According to ArmLur.am, the Investigative Committee of Armenia had filed a petition for his detention, but the court rejected it.
