Another Longtime Official to Resign from Office

Another Longtime Official to Resign from Office

The newspaper "Hraparak" reports: "It is highly likely that another longtime official will resign from the government in the near future. This refers to Amalya Yengoyan, the head of the Government Staff's Department of Relations with the National Assembly, who has been in the public sector since time immemorial.

Since the 1990s, she has worked in the National Assembly, first as the secretary of the chairman of the territorial commission, Arshak Sadoyan, and later as the secretary to Khosrov Harutyunyan (at that time, there were no administrative assistants). In 1992, she moved to the government in an assistant position along with Khosrov Harutyunyan when he became Prime Minister. Since 1995, she has held the position of head of the Government Staff's Department of Relations with the National Assembly.

She is considered one of the most well-informed and diligent officials. There are reports that Prime Minister Pashinyan is also dissatisfied with her work and expects her to submit her resignation once she returns from vacation."
