PHOTOS: Family of Captive Bears in the Area of Ashtarak Gorge Restaurant

Scientist and nuclear physicist Arthur Mkrtchyan has addressed the media in a letter, highlighting the family of captive bears at the Ashtarak Gorge Restaurant.

“While walking with friends on Sunday, we noticed a horrific scene along with its foul odor. This is an awful and barbaric phenomenon, unacceptable in New Armenia; it is simply inhumane that three bears are locked up in the Ashtarak Gorge restaurant while families are going there to sit and eat, enjoying the suffering of these poor imprisoned bears,” his letter states.
