Manvel Grigoryan's Defenders Once Again Request His Release on 10 Million Dram Bail

The former president of the Yerkrapah Volunteer Union, Manvel Grigoryan's defenders submitted a request today, April 15, at the Yerevan General Jurisdiction Court to release Grigoryan on a bail of 10 million dram. This was reported by Armdaily.am.

It should be noted that the presiding judge in this case is Marine Melkonyan. For the past 10 months, she has been examining motions related to Grigoryan's preventive measure at the first-instance court, issuing decisions unfavorable to the defense side.

During today’s court session, the presiding judge granted time for the investigator in the case to present their objections. On that basis, today’s court session was postponed and rescheduled for April 19.

Grigoryan's defense attorney, Arsen Mkrtchyan, stated in a conversation with reporters that Marine Melkonyan is showing a biased approach in the case of Manvel Grigoryan. According to the attorney, all irreparable consequences caused to Manvel Grigoryan's health are also a result of Judge Marine Melkonyan's subjective approach.
