Criminal Prosecution Against Robert Kocharyan Based on Immunity Will Not Be Halted

The judge of the Yerevan City Court of General Jurisdiction, Gagik Poghosyan, has just rejected the appeal submitted by the defense team of the second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan, seeking to terminate the criminal prosecution against him on the grounds of immunity.

It is noteworthy that the defense team of Robert Kocharyan, who is accused in the March 1 case, had filed an appeal to the court requesting the cessation of the criminal prosecution based on the principle of immunity.
