Campaigning 'Competition' Between Pashinyan and Baxtadze: Whose Reception Was More Impressive?

Campaigning 'Competition' Between Pashinyan and Baxtadze: Whose Reception Was More Impressive?

According to the "Fact" newspaper, the spring session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe has commenced in Strasbourg, where Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan delivered a speech and answered questions from assembly members. Notably, just one day prior, the Prime Minister of Georgia, Mamuka Baxtadze, was also in Strasbourg.

According to the newspaper's sources, the Georgian side made every effort to present Baxtadze's reception as warmer and more impressive than that of Pashinyan. In reality, it is difficult to find any significant difference between the two. It is noteworthy that once again, the working schedules of the Prime Ministers of Georgia and Armenia coincide.

It is hard to say how regular such coincidences are, but it is a fact that in such cases, the relevant institutions of the countries usually take such phenomena into account in order to emerge as winners from this involuntary 'competition,' no matter how secondary this aspect may be in the context of such visits.

For more details, see today's issue of the newspaper.
