Armenian President Supports PM and Foreign Minister in Peaceful Resolution of Artsakh Issue
The President of Armenia, Armen Sarkissian, has expressed his full support for the political direction taken by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan towards the peaceful resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The president made this statement during a conversation with reporters.
“Ultimately, the long-standing negotiations surrounding the Nagorno-Karabakh issue have one goal—to find a peaceful solution. As the President of Armenia, I do not participate in the negotiations. These negotiations are led by the Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister, and I offer them my full support. These negotiations will ultimately lead to a successful conclusion, meaning a resolution where we will find a final solution to the Karabakh issue through peaceful means,” said Sarkissian.
The President noted that during his visit to Jordan, he once again reaffirmed his support for the peaceful negotiation process in a meeting with the UN Secretary-General.
