43-Year-Old Driver with Opel Collides with Gas Station Sign and Flower Pots, One Injured
On April 11, an accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 23:00, a resident of Yerevan, 43-year-old Lyudvig Piliposyan, driving an Opel Astra with the license plate 35 VM 773, veered off the roadway on Myasnikyan Avenue. He collided with an advertising board of the CPS gas station, knocking it down, and then continued forward, hitting trees and flower pots, as reported by shamshyan.com.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, one person was transported with bodily injuries to the Surb Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center.
Traffic police officers from the first battalion promptly arrived at the scene.
The police are investigating the identity of the injured party. The driver underwent a sobriety test at the scene, which confirmed that he was sober.
