Arakel Movsisyan Called Me, Says Alen Simonyan
“I must say that this relates to a case when, during their good governance period, one of the ‘professional’ MPs, Arakel Movsisyan, called me. I asked Mr. Ashotyan to find out who had directed Arakel Movsisyan and who had given him my number. He promised to check, but he never did and never told me,” said the Vice President of the National Assembly Alen Simonyan during a conversation with journalists today.
Simonyan added that Armen Ashotyan can make any revelation he wants: “My conflict and his political path have long been over, and I have no desire to revive Armen Ashotyan as a political figure in any form. If there are any disrespectful attitudes, insults towards my party leader, my country’s leader, my colleagues, and similar statements that Mr. Ashotyan has allowed himself, they will receive their response regardless of what blackmail and petty means they resort to.”
It should be noted that the Vice President of the HHK, Armen Ashotyan, had written: “Just a year ago, at the end of February, Alen Simonyan begged me after his next unsuccessful public speech to intervene and advocate for him with one of our ‘strong’ MPs, whose anger towards Alen was pregnant with explosive consequences.”
