A Female Should Be a Female, a Male a Male, My Dear Girl: Vardan Ghukasian

Member of the National Assembly from the Prosperous Armenia Party, Vardan Ghukasian, commented on a transgender speech from the parliamentary podium, stating that it is disgraceful to provide the main political platform of Armenia to such individuals. He added that not all people have equal rights, claiming that their rights are equal in Europe, while traditional values are more important in Armenia.

“No, not all people have equal rights. That exists in Europe, but in our Armenia, our traditional values are more important than all that you are bringing. Those with such behavior would be better off living in places like the Netherlands. As far as I can remember up to this day, such people have not been accommodated in our lives. Now you want to bring these European customs to Armenia; you are gravely mistaken. There are people here who oppose that. And those with such deviated behavior should rather live in the Netherlands, not in Armenia. Moreover, know that Europe is currently depopulating, it has no growth because if women marry women, and men marry men, the birth rate has been cut by 70%. There are no births; now all the Muslims are flooding in. There is statistics showing that within the next 10 years, Europe will be depopulated. Are you now trying to ruin Armenia?” Ghukasian stated.

In response to the assertion that this is a discriminatory approach, Vardan Ghukasian said, “I do not support violence but I do support expelling such deviants, send them to the Netherlands. A female should be a female, a male a male, my dear girl. Now you have mixed the female and male, that cannot be allowed, can it?”
