Teghut Mine to Reopen with New Director, a Russian-Armenian Businessman

Preparatory work is underway for the reopening of the Teghut company. This information was shared with 'Joghourt' newspaper by Karen Mikayelyan, head of the 'Reopening Teghut' initiative. According to him, executive and general directors have already been appointed, with the general director being of Russian nationality. In about three months, the company will have the opportunity to operate the mine.

It is noteworthy that the Teghut mine is currently under the supervision of the Russian VTB Bank, which has engaged a new operator to exploit the mineral site. The new operator is Norik Petrosyan, a Russian-Armenian businessman who reportedly is also involved in the mining industry in Russia. It turns out that Norik Petrosyan has already begun work on Teghut.
