VIDEO: My Role During the Revolution is Exaggerated, Says Anna Hakobyan

The faith I had in the movement or revolution was primarily based on my trust in my husband's activities. This was stated by Anna Hakobyan, the wife of the Prime Minister, in an interview with the Voice of America.

"For many years, he pursued everything that became a reality through the revolution. I knew that one day, sooner or later, it would happen," said Anna Hakobyan.

When asked which was more difficult—being the wife of a political prisoner, Nikol Pashinyan, or the wife of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Anna Hakobyan responded that all roles are equally challenging. "Equally, none is inferior in difficulty to the previous one."

According to Anna Hakobyan, as time passes, her role in the revolution resembles a legend and becomes increasingly exaggerated.

"I hope that this trend will stop at some point because I honestly say, my role during the revolution is exaggerated. I didn’t have a role per se; my entire participation was limited to being by my husband's side during that march," she said.
